Why Reimagine Livelihoods for India

Unorganised Sector

unorganised

The unorganised sector employs 92% of India’s workforce and contributes 63% to GDP.

Climate Change

climate

Nearly 60% of farmlands face climate risk, while rising temperatures increasingly impact urban gig workers.

Limited Access

limit-access

Unorganised workers have restricted access to markets, finance, talent, and digital solutions.

Subsistence Income

limit-access

Most Indians earn under ₹3 lakhs yearly, needing resilient systems amid climate change.

RLI empowers youth to reimagine livelihoods and drive sustainable change.

Hence, there is a need to create resilient systems that improve lightly in the era of climate change. RLI builds the capacity of youth to reimagine livelihoods.
